With its bright yellow colors, the artist Karin Cyren's poster Morning gives energy to whatever room you hang it in. This is the second artist collection Karin Cyrén makes for Fine Little Day. Cyrén is an artist, illustrator and author of children's literature, based in Stockholm Sweden. We admire Cyrén for her bold narrative picture language and expressive color palette. This piece of art and limited edition wool blanket is part of the collaboration between Fine Little Day and the Swedish artist and designer Sofia Lind. The motif of a resting woman runs as a red thread through her work. The blanket is jacquard woven and inverts the colors so each side looks different, this version comes in light dove grey and dark grey. Woven from lambswool and detailed with fringed edges on the short sides, the blanket produced by Klippan Yllefabrik is thick and warm yet soft and comfortably lightweight.

Other Pilling is a natural occurrence amongst products made by wool. It is a direct result of friction. Carefully comb your plaid with a pilling comb to remove pills and make the blanket soft and fluffy again.

The flower Scarlet Pimpernel is part of a series of flower portraits by Sofia Lind for Fine Little Day. Sofia Lind is a designer and artist from Gothenburg, Sweden. After studying at HDK – Academy of Design and Crafts and Konstfack she went to Stockholm where she’s active now. Her work is very much imbued with patterns. The digital part of her work comes in late i the process and she allows the materials/paintings be visible and present.
