Nordic Flavours
Annas Pepparkakor Original are delicate, crunchy ginger thins, from Sweden.
This is a classic, loved amongst Scandinavians and a must for Christmas (eqully lovely all year around).
This product is Vegan friendly.
Annas Pepparkakor’s history starts in 1929 in their home bakery in Stockholm, Sweden. Amongst their many bakes, the ginger thins quickly gained popularity and the bakery grew.
Loved today by people across Scandinavia, these delicate biscuits are wonderfully spicy and sweet. Enjoy as they are, with glögg (mulled wine) or a cup of tea.
You can also serve with a good blue cheese. The spicy sweet warmth of the biscuits is incredible with the saltiness of the cheese – trust us on this one.
Ahlgrens Bilar Original are fruity, car shaped marshmallow sweets.
Sweden’s most sold car, try and you will know why this is a fact.
This classic car has rolled Swedish and Scandinavian roads since 1953. Over the years there has been some new models, but the original flavour remains the same as always. It is, after all, Sweden’s tastiest and most popular car. They come in pink, white and green, but whether they all taste the same or not is up to you to decide. We like them all.
Delicato Punchrulle is a chocolate, marzipan oat trea which is perfect for Fika.
Known as ‘Dammsugare’ in Sweden, which translates to Vaccum Cleaners – due to their distinct shape.
Punchsrulle, often called ‘vacuum cleaners’, are a traditional pastry covered in thin green marzipan (the Swedes have a thing for green marzipan).
They first became a thing when bakers needed to find a way of using yesterdays cake crumbs, mixed with a bit of sugar and liqueur for flavour. Today they are amongst the most popular sweet treats and a ScandiKitchen favourite.
Malaco Gott & Blandat Original are fruity winegum sweets.
Great combo of winegums and sweet & salty liquorice.
The ultimate mix of soft fruit flavoured wine gums, sweet liquorice and salty liquorice. A classic weekend favourite for both kids and grown ups.
Leksands Mountain is a crispbread from Sweden, made with sourdough.
This product is Vegan friendly.
Please note, this is a fragile item and may break in transit.
Leksands is one of our favourite Swedish producers, and this sourdough crispbread is amongst our absolute favourites. Known in Sweden as Fäbodknäcke Surdeg it is a crisp, thin crispbread with a wonderful rustic, robust flavour.
It works especially well with cheese – try the mild and soft Graddost or the flavoursome Norwegian Nokkelost. Also great with pate or smoked salmon – their strong flavours complements the crispbread perfectly. Store cool and dry.
Fazer Finntoast are organic, Finnish rye bread rolls. Best enjoyed toasted, for the best flavour. Suitable for freezing, so stock up.
