About the role:

Blåbär is searching for a design interested & retail focused individual to join our Nordic café and design store in Putney, South West London.

This role is full time, combining working as a barista & café assistant with a focus on our retail assortment – helping with the visual merchandising, coordinating the product range, and overseeing ecommerce sales.

The role is perfect for someone who has studied or is looking to get into product management, visual merchandising or retail management. We are a smaller company, where you can really have an impact, and this is a great opportunity to learn and grow, to test new ideas and be given responsibility.

About you:

• Passionate about design with a creative mind
• Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved in whatever task is at hand
• Some knowledge or interest of Nordic culture
• Sales and/or front of house experience is preferable
• Café experience is a bonus
• Commuting distance from Putney

The retail aspect of the role:

• Visual Display Creation: Help design and execute visually appealing product displays and window presentations that align with the company's brand and style guidelines.
• Merchandise Arrangement: Assist with ensuring merchandise is strategically organized, stocked & priced to maximize visibility, accessibility, and sales.
• Inventory Management: Assist with stockroom inventory, including receiving, storage, counting, and replenishment to meet demand.
• Online orders: Monitor online orders, pack & ship them.
• Customer Service: Answer emails and enquiries regarding orders and products, on email & social media
